Ingredients
  

Meatballs

  • 32 ounces Frozen Meatballs Beef, chicken, or pork

Aromatics

  • 2 medium Yellow Onions
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms Sliced

Broth and Sauces

  • 4 cups Low-Sodium Beef Broth
  • 1 packet Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Corn Starch For thickness
  • 2 tablespoons White Wine Vinegar Can substitute with red wine vinegar

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Can substitute with Italian seasoning

Cheese

  • 1 cup Gruyere Cheese Can substitute with other cheeses

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
  • Add sliced onions, garlic, and mushrooms.
  • In a separate bowl, mix beef broth, brown gravy mix, cornstarch, and white wine vinegar until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture over the meatballs and vegetables.
  • Sprinkle dried thyme on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
  • Before serving, top with Gruyere cheese and cover until melted.

Notes

Frozen meatballs should be plain to allow spices to shine through.
