Instructions
Preparation
Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
Add sliced onions, garlic, and mushrooms.
In a separate bowl, mix beef broth, brown gravy mix, cornstarch, and white wine vinegar until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the meatballs and vegetables.
Sprinkle dried thyme on top.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
Before serving, top with Gruyere cheese and cover until melted.
Notes
Frozen meatballs should be plain to allow spices to shine through.
