Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cans (15 ounce) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (46 fluid ounce) tomato juice
  • 1 can (28 ounce) peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • ¼ cup white sugar, or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Cook beef in a large pot over medium heat until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes; drain.
  • Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Stir in beans, tomato juice, diced tomatoes, and pumpkin puree. Season with pumpkin pie spice, chili powder, and sugar.
  • Simmer chili until thickened and flavors have blended, about 1 hour.
  • Serve and enjoy.
