  • 4 pieces ripe bananas peeled and sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

For Garnish (Optional)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Cooking Instructions

  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted.
  • Add banana slices in a single layer; sprinkle with half the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden; flip and sprinkle with remaining mixture.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes; stir in vanilla extract and remove from heat.
  • Garnish with pecans and maple syrup; serve warm.
